Our Story

The Harbor Bank of Maryland opened its doors in Baltimore, MD in 1982. We have since grown to seven branches in the greater Baltimore area, with an additional office dedicated to loan production in Silver Spring, MD.

The Bank was founded to provide trusted financial services to all Baltimore communities, during a time when Black residents were underserved and overlooked. We take pride in fostering economic growth in our communities by providing an array of financial services and products that serve residents and businesses.
